About this deal

Make sure there are no obstacles between your device and BT20A, obstacles will affect the Bluetooth operation distance. The BT20A can receive audio via either its RCA Line in or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth receiver is limited to SBC and AAC codecs but testing with my iPhone the audio quality was more than acceptable. Sound

A more sophisticated amplifier with added features and better Bluetooth connectivity with a range of 50 ft. It has a built-in speaker protection circuit, the TPA3116D2 Chip for hi-fi sound, as well as bass and treble control. The idea of a low cost, high quality two channel amp which is small enough to be easily portable may seem odd but it does make a lot of sense, especially for homes that don’t have the space for a large amp. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.0 makes it even more useful as you can avoid a lot of extra wiring, or hook it up outside to enjoy music with your barbeque. Set up and tear down is a laugh, and won’t take you any time at all.The BT20A Pro includes a Bluetooth 5.0 inputin addition to one pair of single-ended RCA inputs. The Bluetooth input has a memory for the last BT source but can be easily reprogrammed for a new Bluetooth source. How does this little budget amplifier perform? Pretty well it turns out. This tiny guy has a lot of power on tap and it can easily drive most bookshelf speakers with ease. Sure, its measurements aren’t anything to write home about but they’re perfectly acceptable for the price. I used the Fosi BT20A Pro with quite a few loudspeakers, including the Audience 1+1, Mobile Fidelity SourcePoint 10, ATC SCM-7, Role Kayak, Omega prototypes, and Sound Artist LS3/5As. All were in nearfield set-ups, but given the amount of headroom still remaining when I was listening at maximum levels, any of these couplings could deliver enough output for a small room setup as well. The operation of the relay commute, between audio and Bluetooth inputs is silent and effective. The useful Bluetooth range is more than 5 meters. The quality of the Bluetooth 4,2 audio is adequate for a second input. With the Tone controls enabled it was able to get a nice sound in my listening space without EQ - I typically just need to lower the treble a little for my own tastes. I can capture some comparisons if people are interested of the max / min of both the bass and treble dials.

Inside the BT20A Pro you will find a Texas Instruments TPA3255 Class-D amplifier chip and four TI NE5532 Op-Amp chips. While two of the four chips are soldered onto the board, the other two can be replaced. Fosi lists the compatible replacements, which include the LME49720HA, MUSES02 120-140, OPA26041P, OPA2134PA 25-35, LM4562 and NJM4556AD. That gives you a huge variety of customization, if you so choose. This nicely lands the BT20A Pro in the "very good" category of all amplifiers tested regardless of price:The little BT20A had no trouble powering my NHT C3 speakers and had heaps of power to spare. As a result, the bass was full-bodied and tight (even with the tone set to neutral), the midrange was clear and the treble lively and detailed. Ensure that the positive and negative poles of the speaker output do not touch together. Some relatively large banana plugs are easy to touch together and cause a short circuit.

That aside, note how the response is more or less is flat in audible band with the treble and bass controls set to their detent, center position.

This is the type of amp that can do a lot of things for you. This amp’s main goal was to create an easy, enjoyable and hassle-free experience right out of the box. With its size in mind one can see how it can be the best mini stereo amplifier. Our hearts are taken by this amplifier. If your Bluetooth microphone is a Bluetooth transmitter, then yes. This amplifier is the Bluetooth receiver amplifier.

It feels solidly built and has an anodized matte surface. Weighing in at only700g, it’s super easy to position or move around. The finish is surprisingly good for a budget amp; the BT20A has rounded edges and clean aesthetics. You can think of Fosi Audio BT20A as of a modification of its sibling in the previous entry. The main difference is that BT20A doesn’t have a subwoofer output, but provides twice as much power per each channel, 100 watts each. Same small size, but with a slightly different design with all three knobs of the same size and style, which makes it look somewhat cool. If you are not using the original factory standard power supply, please replace the power supply before testing. Many power supply in the market have large interference coefficient, which will cause a lot of current sound. Please reconnect the power supply to the BT20A, and move the BT20A to another room to have a try. • Restart the BT20A and then try to connect again, try to use another Bluetooth device. Yes, the wide voltage AC 110-240V for power input can be used inany country. You only need to match the power cord adapter of the corresponding country. Anyway, I hope this shows what I think is the big advantage of well implemented tone controls in an amp and the ability to blend the Sub output to provide some level of tweaking the sound to your tastes.
